Leone Espadrilles Shoes
The throw-on shoe of summer. No laces, no strap, no fuss, just clean suede on a jute sole, ready for wherever the day goes.
Soft Italian suede with hidden elastic gores for an easy slip-on fit, set on a jute-wrapped espadrille midsole and a rubber outsole that adds grip and a subtle lift. Light, breathable, and made to be worn sockless from the beach to dinner. Handcrafted in Florence and true to size.
Wear it with: swim shorts and linen, rolled chinos, or jeans on a warm night.
Suede: Brush gently after each wear. For stains, use a suede eraser. If caught in rain, stuff with paper and dry naturally away from direct heat.
Sole: Wipe with a wet cloth after use.

Hand-lasted in Florence, worn everywhere.
Each pair passes through a single Florentine artisan — from the cut of the velvet suede to the hand-stitching of the leather sole. Our last has been unchanged since 1970. We see no reason to change it.
A coin, a payphone,
a century of style.
In the 1950s, American college students discovered that the diamond slot atop their shoe was the exact size to hold a coin.
Students tucked a penny into each shoe's slot to ensure they always had emergency change to call home from a payphone. The price of the call has long since changed — but the trend stuck, giving birth to the globally iconic Penny Loafer.

Four days. One pair.
Built to be worn in.
Sourced from a single tannery in the Arno valley. Hand-dyed in small batches — the nap deepens and softens with every wear.
Full-grain calf leather, untreated, that shapes itself to your foot over the first twenty wears. The fit improves.
Genuine leather sole with rubber heel tap, hand-stitched using the traditional Florentine chain stitch. Resolable after two years.
