Warranty
Every pair of Atelier Brunos loafers is handcrafted in Italy from full-grain leather and built to be worn for years, not seasons. We're confident in how they're made โ and we back that confidence with a full 365-day warranty against manufacturing defects, starting from the date of purchase.
If something goes wrong with the way your shoes were made, we'll make it right. No fine print, no two-month reporting windows, no runaround.
What's Covered
The warranty protects you against defects in materials and craftsmanship for 365 days from the day you receive your order. That includes:
- Stitching that comes undone โ seams pulling apart, loose threads, or unraveling that isn't the result of damage.
- Sole separation โ the sole detaching or splitting from the upper under normal wear.
- Faulty hardware or fittings โ buckles, eyelets, or other components that fail due to a manufacturing fault.
- Material flaws โ defects in the leather or lining that were present when the shoes were made.
If we determine that a pair is genuinely defective, we will replace it. A defect in how we made your shoes is our responsibility, and we'll send you a new pair.
What's Not Covered
Leather shoes are made to be lived in, and the way they age is part of what makes them yours. The following are a normal part of owning a real leather shoe, and aren't covered by the warranty:
- Normal wear and tear โ worn soles and heels, softening leather, and the creasing that comes from walking.
- The natural patina leather develops over time, along with minor color variation across the hide.
- Damage from misuse or accidents โ scuffs, scratches, cuts, or crushing.
- Water and moisture damage, including staining, salt marks, and warping from improper drying.
- Damage from improper care or storage โ failing to use shoe trees, drying near direct heat, or neglecting basic maintenance.
- Shoes purchased from unauthorized resellers โ the warranty applies only to pairs bought directly from us or an authorized retailer.
None of this means the shoe is finished. Most wear can be repaired and the shoe restored โ which is exactly why we offer the next part.
Need a Repair?

If you think your shoes have a manufacturing defect, claiming is simple:
- Email us at support@atelierbrunos.com within 365 days of your purchase.
- Include your order number so we can confirm your purchase.
- Attach a few clear photos of the issue from different angles.

Built to Be Worn for Years
We make loafers that compete with names charging three and four times our price โ and we protect them with the same seriousness. The 365-day warranty is where our promise to you begins, not where it ends. With proper care, the right rotation, and the occasional resole, a pair of Atelier Brunos loafers is built to stay with you far longer than a single year.
